SPRING IS THE TIME TO INSPECT YOUR SIDING, WINDOWS AND DOORS HERE IN CENTRAL MASS

Avoid future issues and inspect the inside and outside of your home regularly. Especially after the harsh New England winters that we have here in Worcester County and Massachusetts in general.  Inspecting your windows, siding, and doors now could save you a substantial amount of money in the long run.  If you wait and there are issues it could add up to thousands of dollars in repairs depending on how long the problem has existed.

Damaged roofs, windows, doors or siding can lead to water leaking into your home. Evidence of leaks on the interior ceilings or walls around, above or below a window means something on the exterior is allowing water in and causing it to run along the ceiling or studs of the window or door. Unfortunately this isn't always easy to recognize. The ceilings or walls may still look decent on the inside, but even minimal discoloration on the interior, but inside the walls or ceilings, much more serious problems such as rot or mold could be developing.   Many of the problems come from poor installation of roofing, windows, doors or siding.  Many times, the products have just worn out and need to be replaced.  Many times, people put off the badly needed investment of replacing their roofs, windows, doors or siding.  This can make the repairs much more costly due to the amount of damage repairs needed once the work is finally done.

Below are images of water rot damage due to poorly installed siding that CORE Remodeling unexpectedly found and repaired!
