Kitchen Remodel – Holliston, MA

This Holliston, MA kitchen remodel by CORE Remodeling Services, Inc. blends modern function with timeless character. Working closely with the homeowner, we opened sightlines, brightened the workspace, and tailored every detail to daily life.

The renovation began with careful protection of adjacent rooms, followed by a full remove-and-refresh of the existing cabinets, counters, and backsplash. We framed and insulated the former porch door opening, widened the passage to the dining room for better flow, installed a new half-glass entry door, and properly vented the range hood through the exterior. Because the basement is finished, new wiring was routed via exterior PVC and the attic; we updated switching, added AFCI-protected circuits for the dishwasher and countertop outlets, installed a new pendant and center light, added general-use outlets, patched drywall to a cabinet-ready finish, completed trim and crown, and painted. Plumbing updates included connecting the new sink drain, reinstalling the faucet, and adding a glass rinser. The existing tile floor was protected and retained for a seamless transition.

Design highlights showcase Waypoint cabinetry in Painted Mist—a calm, gray-blue finish that pairs beautifully with beveled-glass doors and floating shelves for light, open display. Brushed-gold hardware adds a warm note against MSI Calacatta Ocellio quartz countertops, delivering a bright, durable work surface. A fireclay farmhouse sink is finished with a Kohler Duostrainer in gold, while a Delta metal glass rinser adds everyday convenience at the sink. The backsplash features Renzo Dove 5×5 tile with Bright White grout and edging for classic, clean lines. Overhead, a Bellevue Hughen flush mount and Bellevue Louise mini pendant provide balanced, comfortable lighting.
