Four Season Room Addition & First-Floor Bathroom Remodel – Hopkinton, MA

This Hopkinton, MA home remodel features a beautifully crafted 4-season room addition and a fully updated first-floor bathroom, both designed to enhance comfort, efficiency, and everyday functionality while matching the home’s original character. The four season addition includes energy-efficient Provia ECO double-hung windows and two entry doors—one of which features a built-in dog door for added convenience. A new 8-foot sliding patio door connects the sunroom to the main house, blending indoor and outdoor living. On the exterior, the addition is finished with primed wood siding and trim to match the existing home style. Two Millennium Lighting Barkley 16" tall outdoor wall sconces were installed to provide stylish, functional lighting for the exterior entrances. Inside, the space was fully insulated, plastered, and fitted with a Mitsubishi mini split heating and cooling system. Recessed LED ceiling lights, a reused ceiling fan, and luxury vinyl plank flooring in MSI’s Cyrus Mezcla finish complete the sunroom with both comfort and style.

The first-floor bathroom underwent a full renovation featuring a 24-inch Nantucket white shaker vanity with a coordinating mirror and top, paired with stacked Waypoint 9x36-inch white shaker cabinets for added storage. Matte black pulls complement the cabinetry and coordinate with the Delta Arvo widespread vanity faucet and Delta Arvo shower system, which includes a handheld sprayer and valve. The shower area features an Ove Decors Erika shower base and a Misty six-panel alcove wall kit for a sleek, clean finish. A Panasonic Whisper EZ fan with integrated lighting was installed for ventilation, properly vented to the exterior. Over the vanity, a Capital Lighting Lawson 2 Light 14" wide vanity light adds elegant illumination. Additional features include a comfort height American Standard Cadet 3 toilet, Delta Trinsic towel ring and tissue holder, a curved Moen Triva shower curtain rod, and a Sure-Loc robe hook. The walls were painted in the client’s chosen Benjamin Moore color, with trim and ceiling in Chantilly Lace for a fresh, modern look. The floor was finished with 7x48-inch MSI luxury vinyl plank flooring and a coordinating transition threshold.

As part of the upstairs bathroom update, the existing exhaust fan was replaced with a quiet Panasonic Whisper fan, and a new American Standard Cadet 3 toilet was installed. This project successfully delivered a comfortable, energy-efficient 4-season space and modernized bathrooms, blending form and function throughout the home.
