This Charlton, MA basement renovation was transformed into a complete ADU living space, adding exceptional value and functionality to the home. The finished lower level now includes a full kitchen, modern bathroom, spacious living room, dedicated gym, and durable new flooring throughout.

In the kitchen, sleek Waypoint 650F black cabinets with Satin Nickel Leyton Asymmetrical pulls from Hardware Resources bring bold sophistication and a modern edge. The countertops are Jet Mist Honed Granite, beautifully paired with a White Oak 3D honed stacked stone backsplash by MSI for depth and texture. A Blanco Precis 30" Undermount SILGRANIT Sink in Anthracite is matched with a Delta 9159-BL-DST Trinsic Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Magnetic Docking Spray, creating a high-performance prep and cooking space in a compact footprint.

The full bathroom continues the elevated design, featuring a matching Waypoint 650F black vanity with Leyton pulls and Jet Mist Honed Granite countertops. A Kohler Verticyl 19-13/16" Rectangular Undermount Sink is paired with a Hansgrohe Rebris E 1.2 GPM Widespread Faucet for a clean, modern feel. Lighting is provided by the Kneeland 2-light dimmable bath bar in Black Chrome. A Kohler Highline Black Elongated Chair Height Toilet in Vibrant Titanium anchors the space, complemented by a Maeve 30" × 20" Arched Flat Aluminum Wall-Mounted Mirror by Design House. The look is finished with a Kingston Brass Markus 5-Piece Bathroom Accessory Set in Black, including towel bars, robe hook, and toilet paper holder.

The walk-in shower is finished with premium materials, beginning with a Pfister Tenet Pressure Balanced Shower System, which includes a hand shower, slide bar, arm, hose, and valve trim. The shower floor features Arabescato Carrara 1” Hexagon Honed Tile with a Kohler Clerflo Square Tile-In Drain. The walls showcase Montauk Black 18" × 36" Gauged Tile by MSI, paired with a Black Granite 4" × 36" × .75 Double-Bevelled Honed Stone threshold. For added refinement, the entrance is finished with a Pana Light 6" × 84" × .75 Polished Stone Jamb, and enclosed with a Miseno Violeta 74" × 60" Hinged Frameless Shower Door with Clear Glass (Model: MSD6074-CLH-FB).

Throughout the basement, we installed MSI Prescott Sandino Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring, including matching stair treads for a seamless transition. This flooring provides exceptional durability, waterproof protection, and a warm wood-look finish that enhances the comfort and style of the living room and gym areas.
