Trex Decking & Breezeway Entrance Remodel – Auburn, MA

CORE Remodeling Services gave this Auburn, MA home a complete exterior upgrade, transforming both the look and functionality of the entryway and breezeway.

The remodel began with the removal of the old front concrete stairs and existing breezeway deck. In their place, we constructed a brand-new Trex composite deck in Clam Shell color, chosen for its durability and low-maintenance appeal. To frame the new deck, we added sleek black Trex Reveal railings, offering a modern contrast against the soft gray decking.

A standout feature of this project is the new extra-wide, 9-foot stair design extending from the 4-foot-high breezeway floor. Each stair tread was built approximately 16 inches deep, allowing the steps to double as casual seating — a thoughtful detail that makes the stairs both functional and inviting.

The home’s exterior entrance was also enhanced with a black Masonite entry door, bringing a bold and modern focal point to the space. Finally, a Techo retaining wall with block and caps in Sandlewood color was installed, adding structural support and a warm, natural accent to the landscape.

This remodel beautifully blends modern materials with practical design, giving the homeowners an entryway that’s stylish, durable, and perfect for everyday use.

A bold black Masonite door and Techo Sandlewood retaining wall complete the Auburn, MA deck and entry remodel.
