Grey Trex Deck with Harvey Railings

This Marlborough, MA deck rebuild gave the homeowners a modern, low-maintenance outdoor living space with long-lasting materials and a clean design. The project began with the complete removal of the original railings, decking boards, and staircase, ensuring a fresh start for the new structure.

For durability and visual appeal, the new deck was finished with Trex Select decking in grey, installed using hidden plugged fasteners for a seamless look. The outside edges were picture-framed for a polished, custom finish. To complement the decking, Harvey RDI railings with post sleeves, caps, and trim were installed, offering both safety and style.

Additional upgrades included new PVC skirt boards around the base for protection and a crisp, finished appearance. To enhance functionality, an exterior lamp post and outlet were added at the front entrance sidewalk corner, improving both safety and convenience.

This rebuild not only refreshed the deck’s appearance but also provided the homeowners with a durable, low-maintenance outdoor space perfect for everyday use and entertaining.
