Classic curb appeal meets long-lasting performance!

CORE Remodeling Services designed and built this custom 12' x 14' deck with a focus on style, longevity, and code-compliant construction. The project not only improves access and outdoor enjoyment, but also adds lasting value with a clean, cohesive look.

Project Overview

The new deck features a wide central staircase and materials that balance durability with a classic aesthetic — perfect for daily use and seasonal entertaining.

Key Features:

Trex Enhance Saddle Brown decking, a warm-toned composite chosen for its natural look and long-term performance
Installed using hidden fasteners for a clean, smooth finish
White Transcend railings and posts, accented with black round aluminum balusters
Trex drink rail top cap using Saddle Brown decking for continuity and functionality
Picture-framed edges around the perimeter and stairs for a finished detail
White PVC fascia, stair risers, and stringers fastened with cortex hidden screws for a seamless look

Construction Details:

Reused existing 10” concrete footings that met code, and installed two additional footings as required
Framing built with pressure-treated lumber, in accordance with the final approved design

Storm Door Installation:

We also replaced the existing storm door with a ProVia Spectrum 291 full-view storm door in black (32" x 80"), featuring:

A retractable screen
Dual heavy-duty closers, including an easy-set locking system
Matching black hardware and piano hinge for a sleek finish
