Basement & Bathroom Remodel – Holden, MA

This Holden, MA renovation by CORE Remodeling Services, Inc. transformed an underutilized basement into a fully finished, functional living space with a luxurious bathroom retreat.

The stairwell was refinished with stained treads and railings to match the flooring, complemented by painted risers and primed balusters. New windows were installed, and all trim, electrical, and plumbing were updated to meet the needs of the redesigned space.

The basement, CORE created a custom bar-height seating area with a Fantasy Brown quartz top, a spacious family room, and a full bathroom featuring a high-end steam shower. The bathroom includes a Mr. Steam xButler 9kW generator package with iSteamX control panel, MSI Eden Dolomite matte hex floor tile, and Marble Willow Sage honed wall tile. Finishing touches include a White Lace quartz bench and niche, brushed nickel Miseno Mia shower systems, a custom glass shower door, and a Millennium Durham 3-Light vanity fixture.

The space is grounded by MSI Akadia LVT on the floors and stairs, with walls insulated to code and painted in OC-20 Pale Oak and OC-139 Sea Wind. Trim was matched to the home’s existing style, and the basement was outfitted with new hopper windows, a dedicated electrical subpanel, recessed lighting, heating, ventilation, and fully upgraded plumbing.
