2020: Complete Home Renovation: Kitchen, Bathroom, and Master Bedroom Transformation
This project involved a full-scale renovation of the kitchen, bathroom, and master bedroom, bringing modern functionality and luxury to every space. We began with a complete demolition, stripping each room down to the studs to make way for new, customized design elements and high-quality finishes.
Kitchen Remodel
The kitchen was transformed into a sleek, functional space, starting with the installation of JSI Amesbury semi-custom cabinets. These cabinets feature soft-close doors and drawers, providing quiet and smooth operation. We also added an island, which not only serves as a focal point but provides additional workspace and storage. The island is beautifully accented with pendant lighting overhead, adding a warm ambiance while serving as task lighting for meal prep and casual dining.
The countertops are crafted from Cambrian White Quartz, known for its durability and clean, elegant look. The choice of quartz extends beyond just the countertops—we also installed matching Cambrian quartz window sills, which add a cohesive and luxurious finishing touch to the space, seamlessly tying together every surface. To further elevate the kitchen’s design, we incorporated crown molding, giving the cabinetry a refined, finished look, and installed under-cabinet lighting and recessed lighting throughout to create a bright, inviting atmosphere.
During the renovation, we needed to add a support beam, which we creatively covered in a matching wood finish to blend with the new hardwood flooring, ensuring the structural element became an integrated design feature rather than a distraction.
The kitchen was outfitted with energy-efficient appliances, including a Provia 36-inch Energy Star Rated Entrance Door with lift hinges for ease of use and durability. We installed an LG 36-Inch Wide 22.1 Cu. Ft. Energy Star Rated French Door Refrigerator, which combines ample storage space with advanced cooling technology. To complete the setup, a Samsung 24-Inch Wide 15-Place Setting Energy Star Rated Built-In Semi Integrated Dishwasher was installed, ensuring quiet, efficient operation. Above the stove, we added a 30-inch Brillia 550 CFM Ducted Insert Range Hood in stainless steel, which offers powerful ventilation while seamlessly blending with the kitchen’s sleek design. At the heart of the kitchen is a Kohler Riverby 27-inch Single Basin Cast Iron Kitchen Sink, known for its durability and timeless appeal, providing ample space for all kitchen tasks.
