For this stunning remodel, we transformed a closed-off kitchen and living area into an open-concept space by removing a load-bearing wall and adding a sturdy support beam. This structural change created a seamless flow between the kitchen and living room, perfect for modern living and entertaining. To enhance the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, we replaced an existing window with a Provia Endure 6512 2-Lite Patio Door featuring built-in blinds for added privacy and convenience. The new door leads to a set of Trex stairs with low-maintenance vinyl railings, creating a smooth transition to the outdoors.
The kitchen itself is a blend of bold, contemporary style and high functionality. We installed Waypoint 650F Navy Blue cabinetry, which brings a dramatic and modern touch to the space. The cabinets are paired with sleek Hardware Resources Square Thatcher Bar Pulls, giving the kitchen a sharp, clean aesthetic. A centerpiece of the design is the spacious island, which offers ample storage, integrated outlets, and seating for casual dining with bar stools, making it a versatile hub for both meal prep and social gatherings.
The countertops are made from premium Quartz in Statutorio Classique/Classico, offering a luxurious marble-like appearance with the durability and low maintenance of quartz. For the backsplash, we chose MSI Ice Bevel 2x6 subway tiles, providing a crisp, reflective surface that complements the deep navy cabinetry and adds texture to the walls.
The kitchen is equipped with high-performance fixtures, including a Kraus 32" Single Basin 16-Gauge Stainless Steel Sink, known for its durability and spacious design. The sink comes with a basin rack and basket strainer, enhancing both function and convenience. Paired with the sink is a Delta Keele Single-Hole Pull-Down Faucet, which features MagnaTite Docking for secure retraction and Touch-Clean Technology for easy maintenance. To ensure seamless waste disposal, we installed an InSinkErator Badger 3/4 HP Garbage Disposal, a powerful and reliable addition to the kitchen's functionality.
