This Boxborough basement was transformed into a versatile lower-level living space featuring a dedicated exercise room and custom built-in shelving for organized storage. The remodel included full framing and insulation of exterior walls to code, along with recessed LED lighting and two recessed wall-mounted electric heaters with thermostat control to ensure year-round comfort.

All new walls were finished with plaster board, creating a smooth surface for paint and a clean, polished appearance. Ceilings were textured, and walls finished with Sherwin-Williams Cashmere Eggshell, using Gray Harbor and Mindful Gray in the gym for a modern, balanced palette. Trim and doors were painted in Regal Select White for crisp contrast.

The new MSI Prescott Akadia luxury vinyl plank flooring (7.13" x 48.03") in the exercise room provides both durability and warmth, while carpeting on the stairs adds comfort and safety. The result is a bright, functional basement perfect for both fitness and relaxation.
